Welcome to Musings of a Coffee Addicted Bibliophile! I’ve always adored books and wanted to find a place where I could rant and rave about them and hence this blog was created. Some of my favorite books are listed below. As you can see from them, I am a major fan of the classics.
Now a little about my personal life. I am a current journalism student who also might possibly be double majoring in English if everything works out. Besides the obvious books and coffee, other interests of mine include gardening, baking, photography, and classic movies.
Anyways, welcome! And if you have any book suggestions for me comment them below! I always enjoy learning about new authors and novels.
Some of my Favorite Books
Death on the Nile
Let me begin by saying that I am completely obsessed with Agatha Christie and you’ll find me discussing her writing and books on here a lot. This is a great book with a superb plot. I personally enjoy books that really dive into a countries culture and incorporate it greatly into the plot/story.
To Kill a Mockingbird
Obviously a classic, this is such a good book to read if you haven’t done so already.
And Then There Were None
Considered one of Agatha Christie’s best novels and it’s easy to see why. If you enjoy plot twists, this is a great one to read.
The Great Gatsby
The first time I read this I was completely surprised by the ending. I still can’t believe it even though I’ve read it more than once.
The Bell Jar
This was Sylvia Plath’s only novel, but it is a fantastic read. It’s one you’ll find yourself completely absorbed in.
